Title Sequence Opening Ideas

Here I will be looking at various different title openings which could inspire us on how to create ours for our film opening.
I have specifically looked at horror/thriller openings and how they are opened.

True Blood

The True Blood opening really attracts me, as it brings out alot of key Vampire conventions such as the blood smered over somebodys mouth. A Church is also seen which has been key in Vampire lore. The titels also include alot of the colour, red. Which shows a key aspect to Vampires as it's the colour of blood and it's what they lust most.



Fright Night

What I like about the fright night opening is that the F and the T look razor sharp which could represent the sharpness of vampires teeth, but it could also look like a vampire stake. The red sky also brings out the vampire mood, representing darkness or blood.
